The Qingdao Golden Land Bay project's connecting corridor features 800*300 large rectangular tubes from Spare. Pultruded and formed, each profile weighs 33 kg per meter and requires over 1,700 yarns for production. Despite its size, the corridor is 80% lighter than a steel structure of the same size, facilitating easy installation and construction. The technically challenging production process required Spare to create a specialized mold for pultrusion molding. Effortlessly lifted into place with just a wheel and axle, it saves time and effort on-site.

The corridor bridge at Tsinghua University Civil Engineering Department uses GFRP panels as permanent formwork for its deck. These panels are chosen for their light weight, ease of construction, and durability. They are secured to the secondary girders with bolts and can be manually adjusted on-site without cranes. Edges are sealed to prevent concrete spillage during pouring. Once set up, concrete is poured over the positioned GFRP bars. Post-installation, the panels require minimal anti-corrosion treatment.

Chongqing, China - Chongqing Dongshuimen Bridge, a pivotal link across the Yangtze River connecting Yuzhong and Nan'an districts, has unveiled a cutting-edge approach to urban infrastructure with the use of FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polymer) hollow core slabs. Completed in 2014, this dual-purpose bridge spans approximately 858 meters and features a dual four-lane upper deck for urban expressway traffic, designed for speeds up to 40 kilometers per hour. Below, a dual-lane urban rail transit system operates at speeds of up to 60 kilometers per hour.
