Fiberglass I-beam is a composite material composed of glass fiber and resin matrix, which has excellent mechanical and chemical properties. It is usually used in buildings, bridges, roads and other projects as reinforcement and structural materials. The use of fiberglass I-beams can effectively improve the wind resistance, earthquake resistance and durability of the structure, and is a very important building material.
The Composite Retaining Walls offers excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance, making it ideal for various applications. Lightweight and easy to install, it reduces transportation and labor costs. Customizable to meet specific project needs, this durable wall is perfect for any construction project (e.g., residential garden walls, commercial properties, industrial sites).
Our new FRP Pallets provide an innovative and sustainable alternative to traditional wooden pallets. Engineered from high-quality fiberglass reinforced polymer (FRP), these pallets are lightweight, durable, and resistant to corrosion and chemicals. Perfect for diverse industries, FRP pallets enhance efficiency and hygiene in your material handling operations.
The advantages of fiberglass tool handles are their high strength-to-weight ratio. They offer excellent corrosion resistance, eliminating the risk of rot and rust associated with wooden and steel handles. Additionally, polymer composite tool handles provide aesthetic choices with long-lasting colors and durability, surpassing the fading and cracking issues of painted or varnished wood and metal handles.
Concrete, a cornerstone of construction, is often reinforced with steel rebar to combat its brittleness and limited tensile strength. However, steel rebar is prone to corrosion, leading to costly maintenance and potential structural failures. Enter fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) rebar, a non-corrosive alternative ideal for long-term use in challenging environments like bridges, seawalls, and wastewater plants. FRP rebar offers higher tensile strength (1.5 to 2 times that of steel), better fatigue resistance, and is significantly lighter, easing transportation and installation.
On October 28, we conducted a load-bearing test on our Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) pallets, placing 39 scales of 20KG each on the pallet for a total weight of 780KG, significantly above the original design load of 500KG. After 24 hours under static load, the FRP pallet showed remarkable resilience and stability, validating its suitability for high-load environments.
The roofing material used is FRP deck supplied by Spare, which has a light weight and a thickness of 40cm. The width of the FRP deck is 500cm and its length can be adjusted according to the design requirements, with a maximum length of 3000cm. The FRP deck serves as both the top and bottom layers of the roof ridge, with the top layer being connected to waterproof corrugated boards and fixed with hanging tile strips, and the bottom layer being fixed with a secondary keel.
In the realm of construction, Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) is rapidly gaining traction as a superior alternative to traditional materials like steel, iron, and wood.
The FRP cooling tower at the Shanghai Laogang Renewable Energy Utilization Center Phase II Project, designed by SPX Company, incorporates SPARE company's FRP materials for enhanced performance. With a mechanical ventilation mist elimination design, it efficiently handles 4000m3/h of cooling water per tower, totaling 40000m3/h. The tower group, arranged in a single line on the southwest side, consists of two sets of five towers each, with a shared circulating water pump room nearby. Each tower, utilizing SPARE's pultruded FRP frame structure, stands at 21.2 meters tall and 21.1 meters wide, offering both strength and lightweight characteristics, with over 400 tons of FRP pultruded profiles used in total.
Chongqing, China - Chongqing Dongshuimen Bridge, a pivotal link across the Yangtze River connecting Yuzhong and Nan'an districts, has unveiled a cutting-edge approach to urban infrastructure with the use of FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polymer) hollow core slabs. Completed in 2014, this dual-purpose bridge spans approximately 858 meters and features a dual four-lane upper deck for urban expressway traffic, designed for speeds up to 40 kilometers per hour. Below, a dual-lane urban rail transit system operates at speeds of up to 60 kilometers per hour.
